Triad Honor Flights typically take by age unless there is a terminal illness, but flight are normally filled at least 30 days prior to flight day?  We will contact veterans to see if they want to accept their spot and confirm.  Please be patient with us and your application will remain on file until you are called.

 If you have applied previously, no need to reapply. Please email Info@triadhonorflight.org to confirm you are on the list if there is any question. Veterans are called by age.

VETERAN APPLICATION ( Veterans 65 and older ) 

We typically take veterans by age unless there is a terminal illness.  Once you are confirmed, you will be sent additional paperwork with waivers and additional medical details.

GUARDIAN APPLICATION

(The guardian is responsible to pay a fee of $595 to cover your expenses. [This $595 is tax deductible] In other words, to go as a guardian, you must pay your own way.)

Guardians should be 18-70, able to lift 50+ pounds, push a wheelchair for the day and not be a spouse or significant other. Guardians also pay their own way and we do have fundraising opportunities. Current tax deductible fee is $595.

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

Volunteer application is for help with the organization and is not for travel the day of the flight.  Flight day escorts are “guardians”.
